The Whitney Museum of American Art announced that the construction of its new building in South Manhattan, designed by Renzo Piano, will start in May, 2011. Public opening is scheduled for 2015 [Revista Ñ / NYT] / Renzo Piano‘s design has been presented for the expansion of Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth (Texas), designed by Louis Kahn and inaugurated in 1972 [NYT].
