England > “Dalston House”, an installation by Leandro Erlich in Hackney, London. Commissioned by the Barbican Gallery, the work will be open to the public until August 4, 2013, as a part of the London Festival of Architecture [dezeen / NYT].

A similar art installation is open to visitors since May 25, 2012, at Usina del Arte in Buenos Aires. This work was originally conceived for the 2004 Nuit Blanche event in Paris, as a spacious design, accessible to general public. Everywhere it took place, each edition drew inspiration from local architecture: Paris (France), Linz (Austria) or Donetsk (Ukraine). In Buenos Aires, it takes the appearance of a traditional porteña [native of Buenos Aires, Ed.] facade, with its metal lattices, balconies and mouldings… [Usina del Arte]
